Medical Certificate
Filled into the “Issuing place” field of the medical certificate. Pre-filled from the EMN medical certificate when it has one.
Certificates for Recognition — from EMN
Added on Step 3 as EMN holds them: each certificate under its BMAR type, with its STCW rule and its issuing country (the document’s Nationality in EMN). Nothing to choose here — to change a value, edit it in EMN and Refresh.
Starts from the step the wizard is on (2, 3, 4 or 5), clicks Next between steps, adds the Certificates for Recognition above on Step 3, uploads the documents on Step 4, then moves to the Statements page and ticks every declaration. Photo, signature and the final submission stay manual — nothing is submitted.

In EMN (EUROMAR Navigator) open the seafarer's application and click Open in BMar

Sign in to BMAR if asked — the extension opens the new-request wizard, links that session to the application and pre-fills each step from EMN as you reach it (photo, signature and annex files stay manual; nothing is submitted for you)

Submit the request — the Request Number on the final page is written to the application's BMAR Request Code automatically

Troubleshooting
Shows what the extension in this browser knows: its version, whether it has a sign-in token, Chrome's access to each site, and what it did on recent sign-in pages.
Passwords are stored encrypted and are write-only: once saved they cannot be read back, only replaced. Leave the password blank when editing to keep it.
Field selectors (optional — leave blank to auto-detect)
CSS selectors only, e.g. #loginButton or input[type="submit"] — not the element's HTML. In DevTools: right-click the element → Copy → Copy selector.
A field is a CSS selector or label:Visible label. For a dropdown the value is the option's text. Saved in the clear: never put a secret here.
